What happens if?

Post by Selhurst »

I have a regular van share round. I know each week when my day off is, and my long weekend.
I have many things booked up in advance. theatre, days out with friends, and tradespeople to do work in the house, and every 12 weeks which conveniently for Royal Mail, falls on my day off, I have my cancer review. These things are planned well in advance knowing when my day off is. If the revision comes in, and management change everyone’s scheduled day off, can I refuse the change in days off?

Because I also see on the people app that you can review your holidays that are booked but you can no longer see your scheduled day off each week after January of this year. Have Royal Mail pulled this from the app on purpose?

Still all unknown I'm afraid, CWU pushing for 9 day fortnight shift pattern which I personally don't want but I can't see how that would be rolled out across the network if there are duties left untouched by changes

We were told if you've got things booked (and you can prove it) then they would try and accommodate it.

Scheduled day off is at RMs discretion operational needs mean it can be changed anytime, I’ve never had a set day off

Lol it's because the people getting paid more than you don't give a f**k. They still get paid a full wage for a half arsed shift

The app just shows your work schedule held on PSP so if it’s incorrect your manager needs to update PSP to reflect on the app
