Wally week holiday's

Hi I currently work the Wally week rotation and get the full 6 weeks holiday having been with the company 27 years, my question is we only get 5 weeks holiday with the Wally week rotation, is this correct I've been told we lose roughly a week because we're on this Wally rotation therefore do not get the full 6 weeks anymore..... It's worked out in hours and minutes these days.
But to make it easy, those on a wally week still get 30 days holiday per year(20+ years service) but when they book a week off, they use up 6 days leave.
Someone on a normal day off per week, only uses up 5 days of leave when booking a week off.

Simple stuff really. I'm sure 20 year+ OPGs on Wallington shift patterns never got 6 full weeks off in the first place

As others have said, it costs 1 more day per week for your holidays, you get the same overall time off.

Dont complicate things. You can only book 5 weeks holiday a year not 6 so it is correct

You only get 5 weeks holiday, 6 days a week off that's 222 hours(30days) taken, but you only get paid 37 hours a week for those 5 weeks =185 hours.

You also get a full week off and paid 37 hours every 6th week, despite doing jack in that time... It's not hard to understand. You just shove the days off into one week as "time owed", effectively.

Rotationals aren't getting paid 6 days off, they're getting paid 5, the other two are normal days off.

yea they did and still do if they book holidays when the work 4 days a week
