9 day fortnight

9 day fortnights are mentioned as an attendance pattern for the proposed new working method.

We've never had them at our place so can someone please advise how they actually work out/days off rotation/accompanying cover duty ?

Just had ours taken away

In our place, the days are slightly longer. The hours for each day are the same every week.
1 in 4 Saturdays off so it works on a 4 week cycle. Every 4 weeks you get 4 days off.

Holidays are measured in minutes when you take off 4 or 5 day week. You can gain any extra week by taking 4 day week off.

Longer days with all that double mail so less days needed to achieve your hours.

Holidays never done on Seniority. You could always get what you wanted. Of course they got rid of that too, mucking that up.

We've been short staffed for almost 20 years now, probably why it's never been an option lol
