Days carrying over .

I've 42 hours approx of annual leave 5 days ,ive tried booking a day off in April but the good old app won't let me , just wondering can I carry these 5 days over from beginning of April as I'd prefer to use this up in the summer months of 2025

We have to use paper forms to book any annual leave

Yes you can as long as you don't purchase extra annual leave.
You can't carry over purchased leave.
You can only carry over maximum five days though.
Will lose the rest

You can carry over a maximum of 5 days and need to use 5 days of leave that you carried over before August 31st 2025. If you don't have 5 days off then they will be removed.

I think the main point is you can't use/book the hours until April as until then they haven't been carried over.

You could speak to your manager and try and book the hours using your 25/26 allocation and then when/if your 24/25 hours are carried over your 25/26 hours will realign

HR confirmed to me this isn’t possible. Requests go to PSP for managers to review

Interesting Some of our OPGs have been having this problem trying to book their days off in lieu. Our Manager told them they'll have to wait until the NEXT leave year to take them. He said the Computer won't allow him to do it.

They've passed it onto HR via ''Raising a Concern'' and strangely our Manager suddenly starts trying to be helpful.
