First class only for 8 weeks?
Anyone else being hit with a PRODUCTIVITY CHALLENGE? first class mail only every Tuesday for 8 weeks beginning 13th of January. I've been told that it's nationwide but I smell a rat. Most of the office moved to a Tuesday off without consultation, whilst the rest of us have to cover two dutys doing all parcels, packets and first class mail, then on the Wednesday getting hit with two days mail and d2d's.

Well I'd be miffed at being made to have every Tuesday off but as for being hit with 2days mail etc, you don't have to go past your timeblackdog wrote: ↑04 Jan 2025, 15:51Anyone else being hit with a PRODUCTIVITY CHALLENGE? first class mail only every Tuesday for 8 weeks beginning 13th of January. Nothing is surprising anymore especially how thick as f**k most of the ideas are that get dreamt? up. How does the this challenge improve productivity? Post persons are still having the same number of days off and getting paid the same for the days they're in. Whether they're all off on Tuesday or otherwise it's the same. Or am I missing something!

Have they factored in the time it'll take staff in DOs to extract the 2C from the 1C?

Erm , if you’re doing long and shorts then they’ll owe you time if they gave you every Tuesday off.

No clue, we're supposed to sort everything that comes in, box in every duty (probably make 1st class visible) then sort and deliver our two runsSpacePhoenix wrote: ↑04 Jan 2025, 16:16Have they factored in the time it'll take staff in DOs to extract the 2C from the 1C?

According to him he knew nothing about it when I messaged him, however after he contacted OPL he told me it was national and in every office UK wide. I'm having doubts to say the least.tramssirhc wrote: ↑04 Jan 2025, 18:36So your area reps has agreed it?blackdog wrote: ↑04 Jan 2025, 17:50Area rep told me that it's national, in every office UK wide..
