They forecast before Christmas that it was going to be monumentally heavy and Christmas just wasn’t that heavy at all. The numbers on Christmas 2024 will be interesting.
But back to my main query, are MCs staffed as usual? Are we really getting all there is, because if we are it’s pretty abysmal.
For example, I only had 24 tracked items today. That’s been unheard of.

Re: Parcels Are Way Down
You get three totals on screen on the PDA. The total of Tracked, the total of non-Tracked and the total scanned (total of Tracked + total of non-Tracked). The PDA software is the same in every MC, all staff will use it at some point. The new scanning system AFAIK is due to go live from Monday so I believe in theory the screws in DOs should know how many Tracked and non-Tracked each walk will have. As soon as a sleeve or york arrive a DO, the system will deem all items scanned out to that sleeve or york to have arrived at the DOSean06 wrote: ↑01 Jan 2025, 17:21Surely they know what is tracked an non tracked an recorded accordingly.stay on the mech lol at least you know a wee bit bout that lolSpacePhoenix wrote: ↑01 Jan 2025, 13:39Tracked and non-Tracked get sorted together and get sent out to the next MC (outward) or to the DO (inward) mixed together.Barnacle wrote: ↑01 Jan 2025, 11:20Where are they then?
