All new part-timers on monthly pay - check payslips!

While we don't get paid until 31 December, payslips are available to view on PeopleApp. Checking mine, surprised to discover that I was about 10 hours short of basic hours for December, having been told I was made up to 37 hours for the 18 Nov - 22 Dec peak period. I'm on 30 hours contract.

Checking with Payroll, turns out I was not made up until a week later, 25 Nov, even though I had been working the new hours since the 18th.

When questioned, the manager said this was a nation-wide situation and that I'd be paid the shortfall as overtime.

Check your payslips peeps - you may not have been paid the hours that you were told you'd be and that you probably worked.

He may indeed be correct but why hold back the info until questioned? And have us attending the made-up hours while not getting paid for them unless going over?

It's straight up against the law to not pay people for hours worked. Get your area or above union reps on this at once, f***ing scandalous nonsense happening here

Payslips for monthly paid have been for over a week now.. now the gap going foward is a standard month plus 1 week.. 5 weeks flat in total in Januarys wage slip.. and any overtime obviously as well.. it's to long to wait..nearly against the law
