Christmas bonus

Post by roadrunner bill »

It's been 200 quid from the 2000 agreement ,so 24 years ago, and it's still the same..

Absolutely ridiculous that, the walks are 10 times the size, they were 24 years ago, work loads ridiculously impossible.. making millions in profits but cannot pay a desent Christmas bonus to delivery staff..

Should be at least 500 quid now..

The board of directors giving huge amounts of money to themselves, they should be ashamed of themselves... how do they sleep at night..

Do the right thing a pay a good Christmas bonus to the workers who actually do the work, while bosses give themselves big bonuses... :no no

It’s the way these days, we get to feed off the scraps. Nothing will change I’m afraid, those at the top cream it off, as they laugh at those below them. You realise that we have to be grateful :left:

It's an absolute disgrace what we get paid for as a bonus.
The management will get no luck down the line or bosses for what they do..
Evri employees deliver up to 200 parcels a day around xmas and they haven't got a back up manager on a computer on 800 a week sitting playing solitaire.. it's us on the ground who are suffering.. and then when a parcel goes missing of the 700 or 800 we deliver a week then they'll try an justify there wages and fire a page at you with the picture at the door and that's the end of it.. we don't need managers cut them out and spread it to the employees.. 2 per county would be more than enough..

2 per county and some admin staff to sort out holidays, overtime and sick notes. Pay these about £30k and watch the savings roll in.

If we had manageable workloads and job and finish then you wouldn't need as many managers.

The remaining managers will also have far less to do so RM can pay them less. Far less recruitment as more posties stay. Only workload that would need managing is that of anyone who is off sick.

Complaints could just be dealt with by someone on a postie salary like a workplace coach.

Kretinsky needs to stop the ridiculous bonuses to managers - a needless waste of money.

Some of you have never experienced what being a manager is.

There are posties turning over near £30k currently with their RRIS and legacy payments. Why would a manager be paid similar when they are responsible for the running of the office and the members of staff within.

If the job was just a case of sitting around with a cuppa then why aren't those complaining doing it?

Yes there are some bad apples but there are on the shop floor also - not every postie is a thieving scumbag

In all likelihood you will get nothing next year.
Not with this new owner.

Most managers these days have never been posties either in a DO or MC. The ones that have, OK they might be s**t at their jobs but at least they have an understanding of how things work

All of the COMs at my DO are 30+ year failed delivery posties :left: same as the "Dom support" and all the locker crew. Not a single one of them has even delivered a single letter for at least a decade. Like I said f***ing charatans the lot of them

The bonus is shocking, In my previous job we used to get an £800 bonus every 1/4 and that was in customer service!

Managers get paid a percentage depending on how they perform. It will be more than the £200 that we receive and more like a four figure sum.

Shouldn’t b a bonus, overtime in December should be paid at a higher rate, then the 7hr 48 min mob can go stuff themselves while the rest of us deliver Xmas on a decent pay rate
