Parcel volume today

Post by Smoothbackground »

Every office in my region failed today. We were hammered with 3500 Sunday LATs against a forecast of 1900. Over 1500 failed. Busy Monday awaits!

Our office simply don’t have enough staff or hours available, to deliver everything by the Christmas Eve deadline. If only we’d known Christmas was coming.

Personally, after the last four weeks I can't wait for the press release that tells us it was a record year
...rolls dice...
but we lost 50p on every bloody packet and USO reform is urgently needed.
The machine stops.

What's the betting the next customer survey shows that Amazon are considered to be providing the best customer service whereas RM are somewhere mid table?

How dare you, my Evri driver on sunday gave me a whole 4 seconds to answer the doorbell before he started bashing on the door. :coolr

Our EVRI driver NEVER knocks on any doors. We both follow the same route and the number of times I say to someone I'm handing a parcel
over to - 'EVRI's left one here on your doorstep for you as well' but I doubt anyone complains because that's the expected standard for them.

I accidentally stood on an Evri parcel the other day and squashed it flat. I couldn't bl**dy miss it! :left:

We definitely won't come the bottom on the list of reliable couriers. The gaffer even said that many of the complaints we have received aren't us.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.
