Colleague Shares was just a glorified bonus scheme that failed to pay out what was promised to most people.

I still have the certificate which might be a collectors item in the future along to with all my long service awards and various postal parpanalia accumulated over the years including the short lived Consignia items.

Re: Colleague shares worth anything?
Isn’t that the reason we get an extra £100 (pro rata) paid at Christmas?
Shortly before we were due to be paid the Colleague Shares, RM announced they were worth nothing, and as they hadn’t been endorsed by the CWU, there was nothing they could do. They did however, ‘win’ the extra £100 included with the Christmas bonus.
Then again, I may have dreamt that, I am getting on a bit
