ROYAL MAIL TAKEOVER AGREEMENT REACHED - LIVE AT 5 TODAY

Dear Members,

Today at 5pm, pending the decision of our Postal Executive, we will share with you the full details of the settlement reached with EP Group on the future of Royal Mail and the impending takeover.

You will have questions, concerns and want more information - all of this will be covered as we take you through every element of the agreement and how we have secured a groundbreaking settlement that will completely re-set and rebuild Royal Mail.

The briefing will cover all of the key areas including:

- USO
- Job Security
- Pay, terms and conditions
- New entrants
- Governance of the company
- The agreement EP Group reached with the UK government
- And much more.

It is absolutely vital we have thousands of you online at 5pm. Please do everything possible to join us and encourage all of your colleagues to do the same.

This is a huge day for the company. It’s a huge day for our members.

See you at 5pm.

Where are the documents referred to at the start of the broadcast? Also does anybody know the 38 offices chosen for the pilot?

As far as the 11,000 p/r being moved to f/t contracts are they just based at the 38 offices or nationwide, if its the latter then how are they being chosen?

The 11k aren't being moved to full time, they now have the option to on legacy terms not the new starters terms.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
