You're applying the logic of "if you don't like apples then you must like oranges".
The useless Tories are gone into history, so now Starmer and his bunch must take responsibility for their own (in)actions, and referencing the past will only work for so long.
If Reeves etc had an ounce of financial nous they would have targeted the farms which had been bought for tax avoidance purposes rather than every farm, ie if it's still a working fully operational farm then it's hardly tax avoidance.
If that didn't satisfy her, then stipulate that after the death of the farmer the family must continue to work the farm for say 5 years, and if they decide to sell in the meantime then IT becomes payable, but I guess that would be too easy.
I like the bit about But, you know, we could have let everything just carry on into decline. has Starmer shown any signs that he has the will or ability to change anything for the better?
Not so far, that's for sure.

You're right, I did miss the bit about 13K illegals being returned, but then it appears so did many more-

Freebiegate?- big deal.
My MIL got the winter fuel allowance although she didn't need it, doesn't qualify for any benefits. Those that need it are now claiming more than before, so there's logic in that.
You obviously missed the 13k immigrants that have been returned in last 5 months.
Farmers? Contentious I agree, but at the end of the day it was to stop people buying up estates to avoid tax so something needed doing.
Could mention the ridiculous £200 limit the Tories introduced that basically gave shoplifters a free go whenever they wanted- taken away. This alone is a symptom of society gone wrong and needed stamping out.
NHS, don't let's go there.
Everyone on strike because the last lot refused to talk to unions.
But, you know, we could have let everything just carry on into decline.
Name me one thing, just one, that made your life better under the Tories.
Broadly agree
