BBC Breakfast is at a Royal Mail hub tomorrow with one of the big knobs, that should be interesting

Post by ted_e_bear »

Someone posted this on Facebook, I'm guessing it won't be interesting, presumably the usual someone stood there in an ill fitting brand new hi Viz saying how they pulled out all the stops to deliver Christmas whilst the camera pans over to millions of parcels moving on conveyor belts.

It would be more interesting if they were in a delivery office discussing things in front of a frame rammed full of mail and with trays full of cards stacked all around :whistle :whistle

With stressed posties crammed round the parcel drop bags with hundreds of yorks backed up.

Dozens of parcels marked "fragile" arcing 4 metres through the air, "get out of the way you fat bastard!"

Etc

Many local MPs have been at their local DO for a photo opportunity. Seen loads on X/Twitter. I guess just because of the time of year.

Oh, there was no photography when our MP visited! He was surrounded by a human shield of managers to prevent him from talking to anyone.
The machine stops.
