Have been last few weeks.also all damaged mail arriving into nrc with perfect address from msh any idea why.been told nrc just sending them on for auction.

We were chugging along relatively fine until Wednesday when oversized and Tracked exploded. We've had agency and reserves doing packet runs since the start of the month and now that capacity has been greatly exceeded. I've seen non-Ops staff on delivery again.

“Capacity greatly exceeded” sums it up neatly. And it’s not just the manpower to deal with it — Yorks, depot space, vehicles, pdas are all usurped.

We had non-ops staff in this week too, although apparently they won’t be back now until the penultimate week before Christmas (10 Dec?).

Same here. It was manageable Monday and Tuesday but when Wednesday came the managers had no clue how to deal with it other than to howl at us to take more. Didn’t happen and then Thursday agency showed up and things ran a bit more smoothly.

It's fine as we just prioritise parcels as normal....mail comes back. Just make sure you get the Tracked done is what we are told.

Most big retailers now have Black Friday weeks, I assume to spread the demand out over a week, it just seems the smaller retailers doing Black Friday weekend deals.
