Yes. This is a result of a visit by the area manager and his boss. It seems we were either rounding up or down the o/t claimed. 30 mins instead of 32, 30 mins instead of 28, 90 mins instead of 70.
Way to go RM, busiest time of the year, expected to cram 10 hours of work into 7 and hell mend you if your overtime claim is out by 2 minutes
But, it's in one of the latest agreements that SISO data will not be used to adjust for overtime when a verbal agreement has been made - not that theres much of that anymore. So going by that SISO doesn't have to measure up exactly, I'd imagine.

I don’t see a problem with a bit of rounding, as long as you don’t take the piss it keeps it simple.
Can't believe ghosting still goes on to be honest.
If nothing else, managers doing it would be putting their jobs at risk.
You agree an amount of hours that make it worth your while , who in their right mind is going to agree to be paid for hours worked at royal mails lousy ot rate .If they don’t agree you say no thank you .

Moaning at colleagues being paid well for work and gaining a bit out of the company that the same moaners moan treat everyone like s**t.

One thing I have learned in my several decades in royal mail is that people hate to see someone get something that they aint getting in fact I would go as far to say they can't do their own job without worrying what other people are doing and it may well stop them sleeping at night.
in our place people dont get paid their full overtime hours unless you stay alert to it. Its despicable
It must be a nightmare for anybody on new contracts as it's bad enough keeping on top of your weekly OT payments, I'm sure the managers try it on with new starters until they realise they are keeping an accurate record.

I keep on top of my OT, getting it added to the sheet and signed off every morning, plus I keep a log of it on my phone, and it it is rarely, if ever, wrong when it comes to payday. That said, one of my workmates is always short, with hours missing, but I think it’s because he goes days or all week before asking to have his overtime for the past however many days added to the sheet and signed off.
Never gonna change there will always be people who are looked after better than others.
On the flip side to that , there are always people that do the job better than others and try a little harder than others, maybe some of these managers know that and are prepared to reward that , I don’t always think that’s such a bad thing.

Is that not called favourtism.although i understand what you mean because same agency staff are booked everyday.
