RM Sucks

Post by prowler »

After nearly 23 years with this company I'm now totally f****d off with all this shite.
Good workers treated like crap while the idiots at the top, who couldn't run a piss-up in a brewery, paying themselves over-inflated wages and stuffing their pockets with bonuses they don't deserve.Overseen by a government that has instigated all of this and is now washing its hands of its responsibilty to RM and the general public. Not to mention the EU whose laws have created this mess although other countries choose to ignore them.
I hope the CWU contributes no more money to this Labour government as it clearly has no interest in ordinary working people and no commitment to the universal service.
Just gimme my EVR and I'm outa here!

Don't leave we need good people to fight these bastards as you can run all you like but they will catch up with you again sooner or later.

Time to stand together and fight back.

gotta agree with the original post, its pretty much the same feeling thru the mc i work in.
anybody with 20 or more yrs service is so p'd off its untrue, were suppose to be getting
a flat machine next yr and most people are hoping this will be a chance to get out for them.
unfortunately im not one of them, cos with a big mortgage round my neck, their not gonna
pay me enough to cover it, otherwise i would give it very serious consideration.

morale as a whole is very low, and prob even lower now. specially my age group who thought
they only had 10 yrs to go, and now, if royalmail get their way, will have half as much
to do again.

Late starts AND flexibility

Post by prowler »

Just when thing couldn't get worse, they did!
All bulk and industrial drivers instructed to take out failed walk deliveries on return to the office.I did but brought most of it back.
Whatever happened to job and finish ie. its OK for walkholders but not drivers. All parcels and packets failed. Is this happening in other offices.
Also not a union rep in any function available - either off or on holiday. All this on top of new start times and total chaos. What a f*****g joke, and more of this to come!

RM SUCKS

Post by OZZO »

 Over 20 Years service, Nearly 50 years old, only one job, same walk for 15 years, not a big mortgage but still can't afford, will find it hard doing extra with new start/finish times. Oh, by the way job and finish is done for at Southend, so don't fancy starting another walk at gone 3PM. Totally pissed off and demoralised. Won't even get a pension without a fight so come on lads stand firm. We can do it without the help of SCAB offices. SORRY IF I'M STARTING TO RANT, but i'm frustrated that nobody seems to listen...................or care.

28 years service for me and I’m completely pissed off. Incompetent managers. 80 percent of my work colleagues are w*****s.

I had a weeks annual leave last week and have come back to neither duty’s having gone out since last Monday.

There’s 40 plus boxes of mail and sacks of non-tracked with bags full of undelivered mail.

I said to the managers that this’s all didn’t appear on the day I came back and they had many opportunities for it not to end up like it has.

Won’t be back under control until way after Christmas now.

Royal mail has no respect for its employees or customers.

That’s a disgrace and they wander why people go off with stress. You should be asking for extra help to get rid of all that, you probably won’t get any but if you don’t ask you don’t get. W@nkers.
