Re: 10% Pay Rise
No idea if that's true or what but here's the figures if anyone's interested
Current 37hr pay £505.13
Delivery supplement £29.35
So £534.43
£505.13 plus 10% = £555.64
Which is effectively a 3.97 % increase.

Re: 10% Pay Rise
I don’t know where this has come from, certainly wasn’t announced yesterday. Cwu has listed all that RM will have to pay over the next year or so and with that in mind, it’s doubtful that we’ll get anywhere near that. I hope I’m wrong.

Jesus Trolleyman, do you mean to tell me you believe what comes out of the area managers mouth, they lie for a living, be it lying to us or to the upper management, it's all they do.
Now it could be they might be telling the truth, in which case i will stand corrected...... but really tell the truth, you didn't really believe them did you?

Re: 10% Pay Rise
They never mentioned it in their little vid but it could work out well as it would be tied into basic wage. Mind you they will probably slash the overtime rate but still demand you go over. Any takers?

Are they f**k. The CWU is simply a echo chamber telegraphing what ever Ward and Walsh nod their heads to in their secret meetings.

Re: 10% Pay Rise
I'm expecting another union deal of the century where we get nothing as a pay rise in 2025, with the union praising management for not implementing a pay cut due to NI contributions for the company being increased!
Union what Union? Do we have a union?

Re: 10% Pay Rise
I dont think posties are paid enough for the work we do these days. I think a full-time postal worker should earn a salary of at least £30k a year if a train driver can earn twice as much. Come on CWU fight for us for a £30k salary.

FFS, we are pushing bits of paper through a hole in a door and knocking on said door with a parcel, why is that a 30k job? It's not like we're medical staff.

Area managers will be no where near the pay negotiations
