We're refering to the £250 (£50 per week) that RM paid last year to hit UNIT targets. We all knew the National Bonus for the same period wasn't going to happen, too many variables to control.

Glad to hear the ''Usual'' £200 bonus hasn't been axed yet. TBH Royal Mail has shot themselves in the foot with this lastest Bonus offer. The offer of a Water Bottle or Umberella via some advent calendar was met with sounds of laughter, derision and astonisment . :left:

Do the Board REALLY think so little of their hardworking employees? All they've done is Demotivate and Piss their staff off, ensuring they're determined NOT to break their backs ''Going that EXTRA MILE and DELIVERING CHRISTMAS''! this year. It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic. :cuppa

The bonus which was introduced last year did not work , it only paid out in 46% of Delivery units and did not pay out in any mail centre or upstream.

The CWU had no real in put into the criteria and the CEO made it clear it was a very expensive when it did not deliver on either quality or efficiency across the network.

If the current overtime ban for extending delivery goes on much longer, ‘going the extra mile’ isn’t going to be a thing. You couldn’t make it up really. Entering the busiest time of the year and still trying to cut every corner. Even in my ‘utopian office’ we now have old timers leaving as quickly as new starters as people are becoming increasingly disillusioned by area managers forcing successful offices into change that is wrecking their efficiency. They will be in for a shock next year when the minimum wage increases as people will only leave at a faster rate.

Generally sleeps very well. As for the specifics — sleeps on his left side, window slightly ajar, white noise playing (sound of old Yorks being pulled across uneven ground).

Seriously though, we’d better keep it sensible and on point :-)

The MC one needed all shifts at the MC to clear all the time, as well as all the DOs in the area covered by the MC. That was obviously never going to happen

Probably pretty well because it’s not as if he’s killed anyone 🙄

What exactly is it that is in the agreement that you are not happy with? That would make providing an answer easier.
’You can't just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they'll want something new.’
