Sounds fairCharlesG wrote: ↑14 Nov 2024, 21:01The Xmas bonus scheme for 2024 will require COM to pick bonus for individual staff in December - awarding prizes to staff based on MyPerformance data
Prizes include £50 vouchers, £25 vouchers, £10 vouchers, soundbar, headphones, power bank, Royal Mail umbrella, Royal Mail water bottle. These packs of ‘prizes’ have been sent out to all DOs this week
So it will be the COM awarding prizes daily
MyPerformance app usage within an office is now linked to the managers bonus hence the push for staff to open the app and view it weekly

Re: Xmas bonus linked to my performance app
Heard something about this earlier in the week. Still waiting to hear of all the details. The DIM was very dissapointed that it was greeted with a WTF attitude.
I think there'll be some Push Back from Div CWU as it's discrimimatory. Last year our DIM was saying HE'D like to be the one who decided who got the bonuses and it looks like he's got his way. We all know who will be put forward for the Fabulous Prizes ... and if your face doesn't fit you're not going to get anything.

When he was reading out the Prizes I was reminded of The Generation Game with the Conveyor belt of Tat .... I felt like shouting ''What No Cuddly Toy'' personally I'll be busting my balls for that Royal Mail Umberella.

A few weeks back our manager said he would give a extra day off over Xmas or new year to the best performing postie, mind you he hasn't mentioned it lately

Re: Xmas bonus linked to my performance app
Introducing prizes to try and improve productivity seems to be a pointless endeavour. I think the majority of staff try their best to get rid of their parcels every day and I think the only way I could improve my success rate is if I start doorstepping and signing for recorded deliveries so….
We were told in WTL that the regular Xmas bonus will be paid but there is no productivity scheme payment this year, which I am fine with as it seemed to cause bitterness from those working in s**t offices. It was nice to have the extra cash last year but hey ho.

It seems odd they introduced one last year and are now not bothering with one this year.LouBarlow wrote: ↑16 Nov 2024, 05:48Introducing prizes to try and improve productivity seems to be a pointless endeavour. It was described as 'one off' & 'discretionary' and with the backbone of the current board being non-existent in the face of the T/OTopperGas wrote: ↑16 Nov 2024, 19:53It seems odd they introduced one last year and are now not bothering with one this year.LouBarlow wrote: ↑16 Nov 2024, 05:48Introducing prizes to try and improve productivity seems to be a pointless endeavour. Re: Xmas bonus linked to my performance app
DK seems to have been pulling the strings for some time, given the article in the "News" section suggests UK parcels number will grow by 10% this festive season you'd think the company would want to try and motivate us to get them all delivered on time, I bet the managers are still on course for their bonus, given the way they panic about Tracked items being cleared daily.yellowbelly wrote: ↑16 Nov 2024, 20:00It was described as 'one off' & 'discretionary' and with the backbone of the current board being non-existent in the face of the T/OTopperGas wrote: ↑16 Nov 2024, 19:53It seems odd they introduced one last year and are now not bothering with one this year.LouBarlow wrote: ↑16 Nov 2024, 05:48Introducing prizes to try and improve productivity seems to be a pointless endeavour. Re: Xmas bonus linked to my performance app
Well this was a reason why they put this app on the PDAs in the first place. Track you and relate your pay/bonus to the work you do.

Re: Xmas bonus linked to my performance app
There is no truth that the two separate Christmas bonuses will be linked to my performance or anything else. The ex IWM Christmas bonus and the other Christmas bonus which came about as a result of the phantom colleague share payment will be paid as normal.
