Does anyone here remember when we used to have city/area duty auctions at a central location every so often? I sometimes wonder why the union done away with them cos it would be nice to get a cushy indoor duty after all these years pounding the streets lol

In all seriousness you bid with your seniority number. You could take any vacant duty within the locality/company if the most senior bidder, if you won a duty then the duty you held went into the pot. It meant OPGs could move from delivery to MC and vice versa
