Does anyone have any official info on the 24 minute high season hours change next week.

Not really, we are having a vote to decide the new seasonal start/finish times.

I just hope someone somewhere is logging all of these variations and knows where we are up to in terms of working the correct hours over 1 financial year.

Can anyone honestly say they know where they are up to.

Vote about what, haven't the CWU already agreed we'll start 24 mins earlier from next week? If we don't start earlier we'll then start owing RM time?

The whole arrangement fell apart very quickly once we had an ad-hoc low season in March. It would be a fair implementation if the year was evenly split between low, mid, and high and those dates were known to all in advance.

Between starting times varying by day of the week, the Network change, increase of hours, and Seasonal Variation; I walked into work one Saturday unsure if I was on time or late. I was going to ask a colleague but he asked me the question first.

Cwu said it would be 24 minutes early start for f/T & think it’s 10 minutes p/T seems that’s the agreed procedure. If other offices are doing it differently then that’s up to them.

I vaguely remember them saying that after these next five weeks everything will be balanced out and we will all have worked the correct amount of hours.

If they persevere with it next year I reckon it might be a lot simpler. 5 shorter weeks in August and 5 longer weeks in the lead up to Christmas. I don’t think the workload at any other time of the year varies enough to justify shorter or longer weeks.

Interesting, our manager def said 10 minutes later each day.. the union reps need to find this out,
