Did put a grievance on my DOM about a year ago, appealed the grievance and then left the company.
Stood up to them, filed an application in court. Royal Mail legal team, realising I had a very strong case, reached out to Acas and we finally settled for a out of court agreement. My DOM, because of his behaviour, has cost a lot of time and money to the company. Although the money is in the bank, I haven’t finished with him.
I don’t want him to get away of how he runs his office, with his favourite posties getting a huge amount of ghost overtime for a number of years, while others are getting shafted.
To me it is fraud, I did point it out in my grievance, suggesting to have an audit on the SISO system which would show either the system being overridden or remote SO
All of it was brushed under the carpet

Last but not least, during my 3 and a half years as a postie, I had the chance to meet so great people and will always respect you guys for the job you do.
People don’t realise how brutal the job is.
