I think it's because the locker only scans them as ready for delivery, they don't allocate them to a particular duty.

So if they fail, it looks on the data like locker failure.

They need to be tracked and accounted every step, they're passports after all, and its hardly difficult for us to do.
I think this has explained/confirmed why such as our office don't have to scan to core as our locker allocates them to duty along with the specials, whereas others must be just scanning RFD.
I always knock and hand it over as well, probably saved me once as was leaving office and manager said it hadn't been delivered when I'd talked to the lady and she had told me it was her daughter's so knew it went to correct house. Quick sign on of PDA, tracked number added, camera faulty, job done allegedly🤔

Your just adding extra work to the task, if something goes wrong following the correct procedure then it's down to the company to resolve it.

Scan everything even Specials it will help you see what you got in your HCT or van. Our locker doesn't do any scan to passports never been told to.
Wait what? You can check what tracked are left to deliver on your PDA?
6 weeks in the job and nobody told me that!

No you can’t. You can only see your list of Tracked if you have scanned to a DPR route.

That makes more sense. I took out some tracked last week cos the duty "forgot to take them" and did it as a dpr route. Seemed a decent system considering I don't live anywhere near the duty and didn't know where any of it was.

Yes it’s really good, you don’t need to know an area at all.

Yes I was quite impressed tbh. Less impressed with the duty that "forgot" 24 tracked items :so there
Few teething issues with it but thats because I ddin't read the instructions very well and didn't get the bit about holding Depart Depot for 7 seconds :nervous Was freaking out I couldn't scan anything while out in a village.

That's incorrect, yes you can if you scanned them to core route, obviously you have to scan the QR code for it to know the address details otherwise it'll only show up as the 13 digit code.

We scan our tracked to core route and the result is not, after confirming manifest, a list of all scanned tracked or even a total that counts down as each tracked is delivered.

So what are you clicking on to have a list that you can see once out delivering?

Click the 3 dots at the top right of the screen and you should get an option listing the items in the order they are due to be delivered, as you deliver them the list counts down to, hopefully, zero i.e from 50/50 to 0/50. You can also use the list to find addresses if you are not familiar with the duty.

Hmm. I’ve clicked on everything before and never had a countdown list appear? I’ll check that next time I’m on deliveries.

This works for me too. You need to scan to core route, scanning all the QR codes and confirming/adding addresses for all barcoded items when in Indoor. Then, in Outdoor, it will show the detailed list.

Can’t have a look at the mo. At some point then, we’ll be told to only scan what we’re delivering. As of now, in our office anyway, everyone is scanning to core all over the shop.

Also slightly O/T but to do with core routes, if you're the driver who takes oversize for a HCT and it fails first delivery it goes 'against' your
My Doorstep score thingy not the HCT route even if they scan it to their core route
