Remember a repick we had in 2000.
25 year man, third in seniority list, did not have a driving licence and never had (it did not matter as much then).
Office with 6 very nice and scenic rurals always picked by the same half dozen.
Without telling anyone said non driver learnt to drive in a nearby town and passed his test when it was obvious a repick was on the cards.
Nobody knew what he had done, manager thought it was a joke when he picked a prize rural before he produced his new licence!
Cue howls of derision from the top 6 in the list as he created a knock on effect by displacing second rural pick (one of the top two did the office).
I was there when the news broke, a very funny morning.
