Hi
I was expecting my lump sum to be paid on my birthday, all the paperwork was returned, recieved a letter to say they will be in touch nearer the birthday date (4th October) to say when payment will be paid and ideally they like to pay it on your birthday.
Have had no payment nor letter and have called twice since to be told its being dealt with but should have been paid by now.
Is this normal for Capita or have I just been unfortunate.
Thanks for any help

If you haven't had the final confirmation letter then it's delayed. Capita are quite useless reading previous posts. You just have to have patience unfortunately.

As you're taking your pension early , it depends how busy Capita is as to when you receive the lump sum, as those who have reached NRA take priority, its a case of you'll get it when you get it
