In what way linked?

Re: Xmas bonus linked to my performance app
This will be discriminatory if it happens.
Firstly a postman who delivers in one area will be perfectly easily be able to leave parcels with a neighbour or in a safe place whereas a postman delivering 2 miles down the road won’t be able to due to the nature of their delivery meaning their first time delivery rate will be a lot lower.
In our office we have say approximately 30 vans. Only half a dozen have a Trimble so therefore those staff may miss the bonus due to their data however the postmen who don’t have a Trimble can leave the van running, accelerate aggressively & speed but still get the bonus as there won’t be data available to give negative feedback.

Exactly that I myself have a hct duty and all be it a 1000 calls I literally only deliver items that fit through the door,as well as obviously no speeding ideling etc..Where as my colleague next to me has a nightmare getting rid of packets due to the area not being safe or equipped for safeplace delivery.

Re: Xmas bonus linked to my performance app
Yet another reason to completely ignore the My Doorstep app. Much of the data is completely useless to a postie. If you can’t deliver 1st time, you can’t improve on that by trying really hard. It’s in the lap of the gods.
Equally, idling. The more parcels you have, the more idling time you have. Do they want us to keep the van moving and just throw parcels in the general direction of the houses?
Ridiculousness.

Re: Xmas bonus linked to my performance app
I would welcome an extra Xmas bonus based on the MyPerformance data. Beats last year’s unachievable nonsense which depended on office performance rather than individual.

Same here. Anyone know the reason? Does it have to be 'switched on' at a DO level?

Re: Xmas bonus linked to my performance app
Another crock of s**t, we've got rural duties that you never bring anything back as you just open the farm door and chuck the parcel in, not to mention they only get 25 or so trackeds per day so 100% is easily achievable, whereas other duties you'd have to either try multiple neighbours, wander round gardens looking for a shed/greenhouse or resort to doorstep by the bins to achieve anything like, as usual it's flawed and unfair.

Re: Xmas bonus linked to my performance app
I wouldn't be surprised if us using the app is linked to management bonuses though. We were told last week that the my doorstep tile needs to be viewed once a week. That was reinforced today by me recieving a call whilst out on my walk asking me to just open the app.

Re: Xmas bonus linked to my performance app
This had crossed my mind too. As a lot of managers are unlikely to 'earn' their bonuses based on mail delivery as there are that many failures, they've got to have something to measure their 'performance' against so it's likely to be do your staff monitor check their doorstep app, do all your staff SISO, do all your drivers do their van checks, is their idling, braking within a set percentage etc.jasongray91 wrote: ↑03 Oct 2024, 20:31I wouldn't be surprised if us using the app is linked to management bonuses though.
