Extra payments for certain DO

Is there extra payment for struggling DO?
Or extra area payments? Apart from London

Offices that were deemed in areas where recruitment and retention were an issue receive an extra payment - about £20 I think.
Distant islands also used to receive a supplement I think.

Then there is the ICS/PBS payments which are quite substantial in some areas.

When I transferred to a different DO I found out after a while that all the staff there were getting some kind of efficiency/performance related bonus on top of their basic pay, dependent on lapsing being done, clear office etc.

Yet for some reason I wasn't entitled to it even though I was having to do the same work as everyone else in order for the office to meet the efficiency/performance targets.

The performance related bonus related to something that happened long before you joined that office.

i have an £11/ month PBS payment. I then transferred but the payment remains the same.
The staff in my current office get about £60/month.
Other staff who have transferred in get nothing.

The whole scheme was unfair from the start. The more inefficient an office was the greater their earning potential.
The whole 2 tier workforce isn't a new thing.

Whilst the performance/efficiency bonus was put in place before I moved to that office the fact remains I was still having to do the additional work to ensure the bonus was continued to be paid out.

I agree it's unfair in general, basically rewarding inefficient offices whilst other offices who already achieve efficiency targets get no reward for doing so.

No - the bonus was fixed at an agreed point in time and continues at the same rate today.
What you did or didn't do made no difference to their bonus.

Sorry but your talking crap.

If that was the case then me and everybody else in the office could just not bother doing the additional lapsing etc but still get the bonus anyway.

The bonus was put in place on the basis that efficiency/productivity levels would be improved and that improvement would be maintained.
