1pm specials question

Hi new to the forum. Been in the job few years.

Got a question for the 1pm specials.
After the first day attempt. The second day attempt and so on. Can we deliver that same 1pm special after 1pm ???

I done it once long time ago. Never got questioned about it lol

The 1pm deadline only applies for the first attempt

My delivery nicely works it's way back itself, this means that for the most part it's very easy to rearrange or nip off to hit a special on time. And if I have to card it I'm probably passing by again later in the day so happy to try again...when I'm usually successful but have to explain why I was "so much earlier than usual", what a special delivery is and why I couldn't just post it through with the rest of the post.

Anyway...
FIRST attempt before 1...job done!

Don’t beat yourself up about it, if you don’t know then you don’t know. Managers won’t tell you anything.

Ive missed (sort of deliberately) at least a dozen 1pm specials over the last few weeks and nothing has been said.

The last special I sent (was an eBay sale) got delivered at 1.30, so I claimed the £8.95 back = more profit for me, cheers for that. :Applause

The 1 pm is first day only after that it has no time deadline.
