If you are dismissed and are taking a claim to a Tribunal, make sure you have your ET1 form into the tribunal within 3 months. Royal Mail will try to stretch out your appeal process to go over 3 months so your claim is rejected by the Tribunal.
My ET1 was sent to the depot I was working in. Their lawyers are now claiming they want more time because they never received. Has anyone else experienced this?

Should it not have gone to Sheffield rather than the delivery office , as that is where HR are based I believe. I hope you win by the way , whatever the circumstances of your dismissal.

It’s very common in ET claims for respondents to assert they’ve not received claims. It was CWU who put the DO on the ET1 before sending it to the Tribunal. It"s RM's solicitors stating it has not been received by them. RM have tried to drag it on to over 3 months after dismissal, so it was out of time to apply to the Tribunal. Has this happened to anyone else?
