Footie and Monday

Post by ArthurPewty »

So. Saint Gareth has somehow steered the boys to the final. Our gaffer has said no dispensation on Monday morning- come from regional boss.
Great opportunity for the company to get some brownie points from maligned staff and good will all round (with a gentleman's agreement to start later and guarantee to get the work done) - with everyone winning.
Instead we have a situation where if we go to ET or god forbid even win with celebratins into the night your choice is :
throw a sickie
try and get in on time
go in late anyway and ?get disciplined.
Great management 👏 👏👏
Hope half the workforce are off sick, it'll serve them right

Game will be finished by 10pm Sunday night , go to bed straight after and get up for work in the morning, what’s the issue ? Worlds gone soft .

When was the last time that you played or watched a professional football match? :cuppa

Stoppage time can now be a lot longer, any time lost for injuries, substitutions and goal celebration now gets added to the end of the half in full (the exact amount of time lost). You've got the prospect of extra time and then a penalty shoot-out

Yes you could be looking at 10.45 finish at least if it goes to penalties.

SouthGASH was his name a few games ago.

Fans were throwing cups of beer at him....

Soon we will call him Sir SouthGOAT and be spraying champagne on him instead.

Can we have a bit of goodwill for the Sunday night shift workers in the MC’s as well. Most start around 10pm but if it goes to extra time and penalties what happens then?

Set the video recorder Fred ?

Or listen on 5live radio 📻.

For the delivery staff, turn up as soon as you can, I'm sure there will be many later than you 😉

Even if you go to bed at 11pm you should get 6-7 hours of sleep. Expecting to start later is ridiculous.
