I don't try now as I very rarely start delivering before 09-15 and the majority of mine are at the end of my delivery 41/2 to 5 hrs later if I have to break will be bringing back 1/2 of my delivery and to be honest I don't think 😅 the management care either

They will be whenever the new timeless specials take off.

Was the thread announcing that lost with all the posts from May? I can't find it.
The machine stops.

The timeless specials already exist, they're just rather rare right now (I don't think joe bloggs can buy them). Seen a good few, but probably only 1% of specials are timeless on average.

We don’t leave our office till 1030 now, I personally tie up differently every day depending on the specials then cut off when I need to then bring back what I can’t complete, I don’t stress anymore about it, but loads in my office don’t get them done for one nothing happens to them soo guess no one’s bothered till a customer complains

The customers can’t claim compensation as long as they arrive that day so most won’t bother to complain unless they want to vent.

I just looked this up and found that they can't claim compensation unless it's delivered over 24 hours late, so 1pm the following day.

That surprises me, especially when it's called a 'guaranteed' service and it costs a lot of money to send by this service.

Maybe I don't need to worry about delivering specials an hour late, so don't need to cut off to rush and do them anymore.

We are told if you think you cannot make the 1 o'clock scan inaccessible & deliver before you cut off.

Not quite - there's the refund element and compensation.

1. Refund - If an attempt is made to deliver the item/the item is delivered on the correct day but after the specified time - service failure - which should get the sender (or whoever paid for the SD postage) a refund.

2. Compensation - Where there has been no attempt to deliver or the item has not been delivered at +24 hrs - therefore a delay - this is where the compensation comes in. If this 'no attempt/item not delivered' extends to seven or more days then there could be 'substantial delay' compensation.

What's the point of trying to cheat the system as the customer will still be entitled to compensation if they claim, and Customer Services will then have to try and explain why the customer was told their property was inaccessible when it clearly was, surely it's better just to deliver it late and apologise for the late delivery?

I thought that too, I doubt the manager would tell cs the truth that they instructed the postie to do that, maybe they'd lie and say the van broke down or something and inaccessible was the only option on the PDA to choose from.

9am specials are a fraud . I get any when I leave the office at 10.30 . It's up to me to face the fury of the customer.
