So if there hadn’t been some bloke in the audience who maybe worked for the BBC, Farage might have been able to answer the question as to how he planned to dump humans on beaches in France?

The Green Partly co-leader came across very well. Clear answers. The only problem the Greens have, is that they have never been faced with the grim reality of trying to implement your policy dreams as the government of the UK.
The was no maybe about the guy working for the BBC, he states this on his own website.
As for the Green Party leader, he was utterly clueless.
He had no idea how they were going to scrap millions of cars and replace them with EV's.
Farage still couldn’t answer the question of how he planned to dump humans on French beaches.

As for EVs: the answer to that is to let China flood the UK car market with their incredibly cheap EVs. But no politician of any persuasion wants to admit that that is how to do it because of what it would do to car production here.
Its strange that the EU believes so much in climate change that it puts massive tariffs on Chinese EV's.
It’s not because they’re not bothered about climate change, it’s because of the impact cheap Chinese EVs will have on all the massive car manufacturers based within the EU who can’t compete with China on price.
We are facing global boiling and they would rather prioritise European car manufacturers over an extinction level event?
Or more likely climate change is total bollocks and just a way of extracting tax and controlling the population.
Youre now saying climate change is total bollocks?
The climate has never stopped changing since time began, I don't blame humans for the change in the climate that's all.
It's hardly a controversial viewpoint.

The topics fine its in line with the title its when people call others racist just like the man who wrote on the leaflet because there ideology doesn't fit.
Not every Reform candidate and supporter are racist, but id guess most racists will be Reform supporters.
Or equally you could say that not every Labour candidate or supporter is an antisemite, but most antisemites will be Labour supporters.

P.s...how is farage dumping human beings on the beaches of france,is he not returning them to where they had come from on their boats. Sometimes watched by french police who we pay to stop said boats coming over.
He didn’t answer the question as to how he would dump humans on French beaches.

He plans to turn back boats and use the Royal Navy if necessary, which leads to the inevitable question, ‘Then what?’

Is France just going to say, ‘Why thank you for these humans you consider unworthy, same time next week?’
How many more million should the UK take in?
The UK ‘takes in’ barely any people compared to Germany which is doing very nicely thank you.

This notion that we are full to bursting is absolutely ludicrous. Scotland needs immigration. A scheme to attract people to Scotland wouldn’t go amiss.
Ohh aye that sounds smashing👌

Yeah thats exactly what France should say considering we are paying them millions to stop them crossing in the first place

Because people want less immigration from predominantly 3rd world countries isn’t racism. While immigration can be positive for example my wife emigrated here to work the majority has no benefit to the country at all.

Bring in over 800000 people a year net isn’t healthy for public services and housing stocks. Quite a few who migrate here don’t migrate into British culture either which also annoys people many places for example are just like places from the sub continent but stuck in the middle of a poor working class town.

If you look across Europe and the western world in general immigration is a huge talking point and it really is time western governments did something about it.

The is a reason Reform are doing well is because they are brave enough to talk about the problem with immigration the uni party just want more of the same.

You have extremes in every party because a man who supposedly represents Reform doesn’t like brown people or a Labour supporter hates Jews doesn’t mean the whole party is racist. Personally I think the term racist has lost all credibility similar with the term far right.

Pretty much my thoughts too.

It's a numbers thing, not a race thing, even immigrants themselves think its getting out of hand.

The Left likes to paint anyone opposing as racist, classic Left wing thoughtcrime dog whistling ironic when considering they are the most hypocritical bigots themselves.
I think reform are racist because they have people running their campaign who talk about machine gunning down immigrants in dinghies, talking about knocking down mosques and replacing them with weatherspoons, calling people with brown skin p*kis, talking about ring fencing Bradford and having all the residents there shot, saying ambulance staff should refuse oxygen to anyone with brown skin etc etc. And that is just from one encounter.

Doesn’t sound like it has anything to do with numbers really, but if you want to convince yourself you aren’t voting for a racist party, whatever lets you sleep at night.

You still haven't addressed house and service shortages ability to cooe with increased numbers, why do you think house prices and rent are increasing exponentially, illegal migrants being put in hotels and camps ? You have no solution to offer except cry "Racist" to shut down any debate, that trope is wearing very thin.
Blaming immigrants for everything now. The Daily Mail has a lot to answer for. You’ve been played for a fool. Conditioned by the media to punch down at those worse off than you rather than up at the people milking the country dry. You have more in common with the poor sods coming across on boats than you do with the wealthy.

As to solutions for homes - here is an idea. Make use of all the vacant properties in cities like London, that are owned but never lived in. Last I read over 80,000 in London alone. There is a start.

Then we can have fixed rent agreements with landlords so rent is affordable. Get rid of no fault evictions. Then we can make homes easier to buy for young people by raising their wages and making mortgages actually affordable. Even immigrants could get a foot on the ladder.

How do you raise wages?
‘How do you raise wages?’: currently an 18 year old doing exactly the same job as a 21 year old, will be paid £2.84 per hour less. They can’t take a note to Tesco and ask for cheaper food because they are paid less for doing the same job, nor will a landlord reduce their rent or a utility company give them a discount.

So you can raise the wages of 18-20yr olds by bringing them in line with the National Minimum Wage for 21yrs+.

No. A 21 year old is paid the higher rate purely due to age. Experience has nothing to do with it. I began working at 15 and it galled me that I would be training people to do my job and those people were already being paid more than me, solely due to their age.

So bumping up 18-20 year old's basic pay by a couple of quid an hour is going to solve the "haves, have nots" income imbalance then?
So easy it makes you wonder why no-one ever thought of that before..

Companies would no longer have the government sanctioned opportunity to exploit young workers. Many of these companies you are defending ONLY employ young workers precisely because they can exploit them.

If you want to drive wages up, this is where you start.

Companies would have two choices, either employ fewer staff or put prices up.
lol supermarkets are making record profits. How about they maybe don’t make these record-breaking profits and pay their staff more? Radical idea I know.

So bumping up 18-20 year old's basic pay by a couple of quid an hour is going to solve the "haves, have nots" income imbalance then?
So easy it makes you wonder why no-one ever thought of that before..
Once again you are taking an answer provided for one question and criticising it for not answering another.

So only supermarkets would have to pay the extra and not pubs and restaurants?

They get that wage because of the inexperience of youth, apprenticeships work this way it just makes sense you work your way up just like managers wages.
No. A 21 year old is paid the higher rate purely due to age. Experience has nothing to do with it. I began working at 15 and it galled me that I would be training people to do my job and those people were already being paid more than me, solely due to their age.
Yes it's due to age and experience at 21 People develop into adults and so on and so forth.

Thank you for demonstrating that there is no logical reason for an 18 year old to be paid less than a 21 year old, for doing the same job.
