Annual leave after sickness

Post by Gary55 »

Hi I'm currently on sick leave that runs for another week. Is there any rule that would prevent me from taking my scheduled annual leave when it runs out as sick note ends Saturday and week off starts Monday. Obviously I know if still unwell I can cancel leave but I hope to be recovered thanks

There is no rule in employment law that prevents this obviously you should let them know you are no longer sick and now on annual leave however if you still don’t feel well and remain sick you will be required to produce a sick note to reclaim your annual leave
