Anybody know what this it, have not a clue just noticed it on my wage slip.

I heard a new start didn't show up one day and when contacted explained that it was their study day. I don't know what you could possibly learn about the job that wouldn't be better learned through practical experience while also being more helpful to the operation (where's my OT for visualising myself delivering 40 packets an hour?)

When I started little over 2 years ago my very first "day" was exactly this. All of these asbestos, lifting and so on WTL videos at once. I was supposed to watch them at home and send an email confirming I watched them and that was it. Took half an hour or so and I got paid for a full day.
