Regardless of election material we still cannot complete duties in these hours. Was that the expectation?

It only made sense for 5/6 weeks leading up to Xmas where Royal Mail felt they could save paying out overtime at their busiest time of the year , the rest of the year it’s irrelevant.

They seem to think it’s quiet all summer long and while there are a few light days it’s not always the case.

It's as much the CWU's idea as anyone else's. Them pair of lazy bag avoiding clowns keep telling us about how they agreed it.

It's clear as day now that the top brass of the Union are still getting huge salaries and we are not getting represented properly. I will keep my own counsel on other matters.

There's nothing about collective bargaining that precludes complaining about it after the fact. Nor even advocating to reverse it. Were some actual 'deal of the century' to ever be on the table, I don't expect to be told to adhere to the will of 2023. At the current rate of attrition it won't be long before that majority comprises a minority of the workforce.

It's a bit baffling why it was so busy today, is it down to Amazon already starting their Prime deals or something else, as I thought customers weren't supposed to be spending any money at the moment due to the GE tomorrow?
