You have a week to deliver them, and get paid extra to do so. The election is 9 days away. It is nowhere close to being ‘too late’.
If it's your long weekend coming up and your walk is naturally not going to be covered, then really there are five days left.
This election feels far worse than those before because if I go over my time to clear the mountain of crap I'll have to skip dinner.
That is a fair point. If you have a day off cover they should be doing them though.
I’m a day off cover, the comment I get from the duty holder is “ oh, leave them under the frame,I’ll do them when I’m back in” - in other words, I don’t want you doing them as you’ll get paid for them and I won’t. And they also say that it will save me time- yeah, like you give a fook about that.
They’d rather see me miss payment for them, but I do them- why should I miss out?
We have had the basically same addressed leaflets sent for the Tory and Labour candidates, cleared the first wave last week back this week with the new design
I believe each party gets allocated a set amount of taxpayers money to use so they blow the lot

I know that every candidate is entitled to one free mailshot. It's actually better they use taxpayer money because, as with MPs not being paid at all before the reforms in the 19th century, they end up in the palm of some very rich people who completely skew the democratic process in their interest. Well... moreso than it already is.

Had this shambles the other week with polling cards. Came back into 2 days worth of polling and election material that had to be delivered that day being told oh by the way its deadline day. i brought the whole other frame of parcels/tracked back end of the day. Had it out with the managers and said where are the floaters? They had no answer
