Pension supplement.

Post by comeracing »

Hi if you take 60 pension at 55 , do you get a pension supplement, or do you just receive it when you claim a state pension. I'm unsure on this pension supplement do you have to have a certain amount of years working for RM to qualify for it thanks .

The supplement is paid to section C members of the RMSPS/RMPP when they take their pension/s, but only if they're no longer an employee of RM. It's paid until they reach state pension age and then stops.

Full details can be found on the RMSPS and RMPP websites.

And you have to contact your pension providers to inform them you have left the company, you don't automatically get it when you leave, took about 4 months after I left for it to be paid, back payment included
