There is no definitive answer to this question.
Different areas are paid different amounts for obscure historical reasons.
The most I think is 6p per item.

How do you work that one out ? The payment is per item, according to you the old guard have piss easy duties presumably with less calls on so if anything the old guard will get paid less.

How much are posties getting paid for each election material leaflet per item? We have been told 1.5pence per item, which seems a bit crap considering I've seen 3pence per item banded about elsewhere within the business.

These were the updated rates published in 2019, the minimum payment is 3.2p per item!:

3.5p at ours and been like this for years which is shite , and why hasnt there been a national agreement for the same price nationally to deliver these ?

Because RM would have wanted the average payment to become the norm whereas the CWU couldn't accept those on 6p+ getting less.

Well it's only Wednesday and we've had three lots of unaddressed so far this week plus polling cards, and already some of the walks have them piling up, one of the paired duties got a load of parcels taken off for someone to do on overtime to compensate as they were well behind, as usual folk putting them in early/late after finishing time for free.

Are people getting paid going over their time, as wel las the election supplement? Our office told us no overtime being paid seeing as getting election payment anyway. New manager came in today saying other offices get paid overtime aswell
