1 pm specials
In cutting of every day know hour less time till we get there ,rush hour traffic,,only needed to cut of twice a week before . Must cost a fortune in extra fuel for the whole fleet? And coming back through heavy traffic. Why don't the y just make the specials next day delivery ?

Re: 1 pm specials
I think several hundred offices, maybe something like 20-25% in total have moved over an hour later finish. Not sure what, if anything has been put in place to address the problems you raised.

Re: 1 pm specials
The solution already exists, there are specials with no timer, just must be delivered on day. Until they roll it out to joe public as an option though, just got to tough it out. We can't influence the idiots that decided this stuff, do it as they want and go home.

Our managers regularly tell us just to get to them when you do, they'll deal with any complaints. Naturally until they produce that in writing nobody is following their suggestion.

This seems to be a round specific problem. I can see how it takes a lot of time on a rural delivery, but those who do town deliveries in populated areas, where you do few miles a day in driving, not so much.

Re: 1 pm specials
In our office you see a few of them get sent out with the LAT driver so I don’t fuss about it if I deliver them a little after 1pm. Should have kept a few of the old covid rules in place, things seemed to run smoothly back then.
