From memory of last year they print the details on the back of the first payslip unlike RMPP who have given me details a number of weeks ago. Even ringing up RMSPS to ask them what the numbers were going to be proved to be a waste of time.

Some of us are in a position where we are paying tax on our combined pensions and it rankles with me somewhat that RMSPS is the worst one in terms of giving us accurate pension payments for the tax year to come. This year is more difficult as I lose the pension supplement as I started state pension in early April. Again RMPP are much better in this respect as I now know the effect of the pension supplement loss. HMRC ideally need these accurate numbers ASAP to give us accurate tax codes for the year. I can now see that the codings will change again for the May payments after RMSPS finally give the information I need (in late April) to update HMRC.

Not sure why RMSPS cannot give this information earlier via the online portal. :so there

RMSPS website says late April for Pension increase letters along with P60's if you're paid monthly, early April if paid weekly and May if you're paid quarterly, for all sections.

Ah, sorry, this is for those already drawing their pension. I thought it was the annual benefit statements which are in September.

That’s why I want to know how much I am getting from my combined pensions so I can tell HMRC so they can adjust tax codes. Every new tax year this happens pay tax on pensions until I can get them adjusted.

I turned 60 at the end of August so started taking my pension then

I have just been on the RMSPS website, on the page outlining when the pension increase letters are coming out (end of april for monthy pension paid)

and I'm confused by this pharagraph

"Pension increases are applied using different rules. If you retired part way through the year, or if your pension has a Guaranteed Minimum Pension (GMP) element, you will only receive part of the full increase. If your pension started being paid after 27 March 2023, or you are under 55 years of age, you will not be eligible for an increase"

So am I to understand from the above because I started drawing my pension at the end of Aug 23 that I am not eligible for an increase??

I read this to apply to Section C only but not 100% sure, hopefully someone can clarify.

So I'll probably receive mine sometime in late June. I haven't had mail for weeks.

Funny how HMRC already know the month 1 (April) amount of RMSPS pension as I saw it in my tax account yesterday. I even see month 1 (April's) payslip in the RMSPS account. I also see the RMPP month 1 amount - the difference is that I received the letter from RMPP a while back with the PI new amount for 2024/2025 so HMRC has been told exactly what I will receive from RMPP. Any day soon for the personalised PI (Pension Increase) information from RMSPS printed on the reverse of the April payslip so 'end of April' means exactly what it says for those paid monthly pensions. Staggering how RMSPS (Capita) cannot provide this information faster via the online portal. Maybe it has never occured to them to provide this information. Last year someone forgot to change the years info at the pension breakdown table so even that was wrong :hmmmm
