FT report says Kretinsky said he had "no interest in bidding for Royal Mail" and that the offer was he take over IDS and separate the two. I'd assume the logistics, legality (and morality) of that is the reason for the rejection

Been rejected but he has until 15th May to agree a deal. Bit suspicious this bid went in just after royal mail’s proposal to ofcom to change the uso, Kretinsky already knows Ofcom will green light the changes Royal Mail want perhaps?
Could be a big few weeks watch this space.
