Health and safety issues.i can see packets tumbling everywhere.
Plus it all looks fine empty. Now jamb it with three and four days undelivered or returned mail and see how efficient it isn't.

No way too expensive. They've saved up all of the old cheap boot spikees we wore down and chucked so we can skate about in those :wave

Remember Panorama with the shot of Yorks being passed along a chain of posties, we could operate that system with un-sequenced letters:
Chap at the left hand end picks up letter 1 and passes it to chap 2. He looks at it and if it isnt in his section he passes it to chap 3 and so on until it reaches chap 113 at the end ( because chap 48 didnt spot it was on his bit). Chap 114 runs back to chap 1 with it to go round again!
Meanwhile letter 2 sets off down the line. Then letter 3.......
Can I have £100,000 bonus and a million shares please for coming up with this time saving idea :chuckle :chuckle

I'll bet someone's being paid a healthy wedge of cash for coming up with this idea though.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

There’s an office near mine that uses that poster. For some unknown reason they removed our suggestion box.

Wonder how Matt Keogh and Paul Heal managed to attain those highly sought after accolades, and what do they actually mean ?

What do they get apart from their names on a poster that looks like it should be in a primary school classroom?

If only Paul Heal was actually called Pauly. He'd have a great name for postman then. Pauly Heal. :dance
