I've been off for a few weeks and have not heard anything about my exemption. How are you informed about it, by post, the app or in person? I don't want to contact my manager as she'll harass me.

Its by letter, they were issued in/around Easter time. I think its 5 days to lodge an appeal from date on letter. No idea when or who listens to appeal

Refusal for me. Its my understanding that my appeal will be heard by an 'appeals team/manager' at some point in the next 2 weeks, although it could be longer depending on circumstances.
Very grey area and deliberately ambiguous....

I think it is also due to our finishing quite late anyway. We have had a finish time of nearly 3pm on our longest days for a while, so that might be why we aren’t noticing as big a change.

I think it is also due to our finishing quite late anyway. We have had a finish time of nearly 3pm on our longest days for a while, so that might be why we aren’t noticing as big a change.

Our office presently finishes at 3pm from next month it'll be nearly 4pm!

What difference does starting later/finishing later make as you'll still be out of the house for, roughly, the same amount of time? If child care becomes a major issue after a certain time of the day, I can see that being a reasonable explanation and something to take CWU &/or legal advise upon if it means you have to leave RM.

It's discretionary distructive dismissal. I.E. Get rid of the people unwilling to fully bow to the new rules, whether that is by hook or by crook.

'New' Royal Mail. Do they print that on the uniform yet?

Are you a carer for your disabled child? If so, the Equality Act 2010 might cover your situation? I recommend checking Gov.uk and also Carers UK for information.

Yes I''m carer for child, plus medication has to be given at certain times of the day and school have stated they will only give it once which means I need to administer it the second time. This is a prearrangement with school and has been in place for a few years now.
