that suggests a third of the workforce. not 1000 redundancies. 4 posties doing 6 duties, so getting rid of 2 out of 6.

You'll need extra vans then - 4 covering 6 duties when its 2 in a van doing 2 duties
What about non drivers?

The office would still need annual leave and days off cover staff.
Not sure how they manage non drivers duties fairly. Minefield 🤔

The callous feckers will probably want them to become drivers or be paid off.

So "Ahmed" as to deliver both double 2c mail, DSA, & small packets along with 1st class every day of the week on the two rounds he covers!
It's looking like a crafty way to give every postie almost double their present workload?

What's the CWU's response??

Obvious.......redundancies...but it won't be a thousand going by that model. Singleton duties as well.

How will Evie get her 1st class post for her 3 duties, I assume diverting the Mech 1st class could be relatively straight forward but who's going to sort though the flats for her 1st class mail and packets?
