Anyone on here work at the Dunstable Office?
What the F**k is going on in Totternhoe, If and when we do get any mail it can be between 9.30am to 4.00 pm.
It's always a different post person. (Can't say Postman as it's 2024, and they may not even have a Penis these days)
I'm under the Impression it's an Absorption walk due to the complete s**t show it's become!
Keep up the Great service Royal Mail....(yes sarcasm)

Sorry about the s**t service, you're not alone. Can't help you, but your post did make me laugh.
I know it's 2024 but I still use the word Postman/Woman when talking about my fellow workers. I would never use the word Postperson as it sounds stupid to me.

Re: Dunstable Office
Did you sign a contract with Royal Mail stating your post must arrive at the same time every day by the same postie?

Re: Dunstable Office
No one receives mail at a set time every day because a postie may have to change the order they deliver their route, to suit the items they have to deliver or collect.MontyTodd wrote: ↑10 Mar 2024, 19:13Anyone on here work at the Dunstable Office?

If you have concerns about Dunstable office, go to Dunstable office in the morning, not an afternoon, and ask to speak to the office manager.
’You can't just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they'll want something new.’

Unfortunately, that's privatisation for you. We (the public) were assured by successive government's that privatisation would mean great services and value for money and yet what is happening is the exact opposite. Royal Mail wants to cherry pick what days they want to deliver mail, it's not our policy, but our managers are incentivised to cut costs wherever they can and if that means not adequately staffing duties on a daily basis, then that is what they will do.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.
