Why are the people running the company not giving out contracts in Processing then? Surely using casuals cost the business more money in the long term, why do you think that would be?

I'd jump at doing the 7.5 tonner runs to do's, assuming that's what the job entails loading/unloading and driving, the MC is an hour or so drive away for me though so that would put me off as we'd have to buy another car as I cycle/walk to work now.

That is something I wouldn't mind doing either. Our job is being taken away by the constant surveillance by COMs on deliveries.

So where the fxxk are the reps. That's not the order of employment agreements within RM. I've just got 6 temps made up to full time because they were doing work of full time staff because they were cheaper. But they were needed long term, so there was no reason to keep them on temp/ casual terms with all the stress of not knowing one day to the next how many hours you work and how much you will earn this month. Sad but true about 48% of clerical staff at the DWP are on universal credit/ working tax credits. SAD.
