Who knows.

All I know is they have saved a fortune on wages over the past year by not staffing us properly, employing new staff on less pay, as well as not paying out for a lot of sick days. They have also increased postal costs.

What I can't tell you is how many customers they have lost because of the poor service, though I have heard many big companies have stopped using Royal Mail.

Managerial decisions throughout the business, from line managers to the people at the top, baffle me. The lack of common sense is insane.

The one thing we do know is, the people that run RM are corrupt and dishonest. Any financial announcements are therefore extremely likely to be false and massaged in some way, to fit the company narrative.
Nobody in power is willing or able to stop these bastards from doing whatever the hell they want. Rest assured, this chaotic nonsense is far from over.

Random guess, but I am thinking "a million pounds a day" will be mentioned - in the same way that it has for the last 20 years.
Royal Mail
failing the workforce, failing the public and deliberately failing mail on a daily basis for too many years.

I don’t believe their figures at all because based on their own published figures, there is no justification for ploughing all resources into parcels.
So there is another set of figures somewhere.
Yeah, independently-audited PLC's always cook the books. The auditors will always risk jail just to save RM money, I'm sure.

There are several ways to swing a cat and not all of them are illegal.
