My Performance app

Can't remember the last time we had WTL. We just have a huddle now and again. Minimum comms to ensure that we all get out on delivery.

Had WTL this morning, with a Fire Instruction video.FTers first, then PTers when they came in.
The My Performance thing was mentioned, and most ridiculed it. The customer feedback good and bad was read out.

I think there was a 'Safety Flash' pushed out (saw it as a Union LTB not through RM!) that managers have to brief fire procedures because a depot had a fault with a fire alarm going off, the engineer was fixing it but half knew/half didn't, it went off again as he was trying to fix it, some evacuated/some didn't. Confusion all around.

Pretty much sums up RM really.

We've not had the brief yet!

Drivers..This app is purely targetting drivers, when apart, there is no difference between the roles that a postie does...

So it cannot be used to bash the drivers, whilst the non-drivers, as per usual, gets the easy life..oh and get paid exactly the same for far less responsibility

We all know where this is heading.

In the near future we'll be in the office being asked to explain why our perfomance app "metrics" are below target. Then further down the line we'll lose pay, hours or even jobs if the app says we're not good enough.

All part of the Amazonifaction of Royal Mail.
