You know nothing about how delivery offices operate, and yet you keep commenting like you do 🤷
Nor do I, but it's really not rocket science to understand that any individual or office who's light of hours by going early is going to come a cropper at some point.
RM (or anyone else) doesn't pay £millions to install an accurate employee time-keeping system then let old Bert go early as he's got to get home for his grandkids.

It really doesn't work like that. We have a local agreement to take 20 mins at the end and we have had 2 recent revisions with involvement of area management and reps. Our manger has the ability to input that we have breaks at the end and the area manager has confirmed its not a problem.
Hopefully this will nip the constant "you will lose hours reply" as its pretty boring now.
Irrelevant. When the higher ups are deciding how many hours they are going to take out of offices, all they'll do is query the system for each office the difference between the scheduled hours and the actual hours used. You're totally deluded if you think that the higher ups will ever read the notes about it being due to taking breaks at the end of a shift.

How many higher ups do you know?
You seem to know a lot about how they run delivery offices.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

I'm deluded ! Do you even read your posts. You have no clue and 90% of your gut feelings over the years have been completely wrong.
but continue to knock yourself out.I'll stick with what the area manager and area rep say and not someone in a MC.

Exactly how it works in my office. We don’t even do absorption any more, so no idea where these hours out of the office are coming from.

What the area manager and reps say is irrelevant. They won't have any say as the choice as to how many hours are taken out of an office will be made by someone higher up than them. :cuppa

All these DOs that claim that they take their break at the end of the shift but scan out at the start of that break. I hope the higher ups rip a load of hours out of your offices and your walks get made longer. You'll 100% deserve that happening as you've all been warned many times and you've ignored the warnings every time.

There should not be anyone scanning out before their official finish time. When RM see many people scanning out before their official finish time, they're getting a nice business case made for them to bring in pay based on SISO. It's going to be WHEN it gets brought in, not IF it gets brought in.

If everyone was scanning out exactly on their finish time as you want, why would it matter if pay was linked to SISO?

Thanks for the solidarity

Siso now requires you to input the finish time twice, once for the normal finish time and then you have to input half of your M/R, ie: normal finishing time is 15.00, when half your M/R is taken away your finish time is 14.40

You can quite legitimately sign out twenty minutes before your due finish time (full timers) with no ill effect on the office hours

You never understood my post

You said that people scanning out earlier than their official finish time makes the business case for pay based on SISO so everyone should scan out at their official finish time

if everybody did start scanning out at their official finish time today, pay based SISO coming in wouldnt be a concern would it? Nobody would be scanning out early to lose pay as you suggest. People would just start doing what you are saying we should do now if they stopped the agreement of taking break at the end of shift. Whats the point in doing it now when we dont need to?

You also fail to realise that its not just ''the computer'' that dictates what hours come out of an office - the business can choose to get rid of as many hours as they want, at anytime, for any reason. They dont need to justify it. They can make the duties 10 hours long if they want.

It doesnt mean we dont have a start and finish time and the work can magically be done. Especially if the manager knows that its not a ''real term time saving'' if they know that the surplus is due to the break being at the end.
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

You aren’t listening. We have had revisions since doing this and not had rounds removed *and* we don’t absorb. When people do scan out early i.e. before their 20 minute early time, they are slated by our managers, because they *then* get it in the neck from the managers above them.

If it was an issue, the whole office would be getting a talking to every day.
