You cannot ‘slander’ people on an ‘anonymous’ internet forum. You need to get back to your QC or whoever you use for legal advice. My start time, as I have said before, is changing by 15 minutes. I will not reveal my actual start time, as my name is already visible on here, and this would make it easy for weirdos to track me down, and as I seem to attract obsessives on here, I need to limit that information.

Well said. We have a new resident attention seeker, who has managed to quadruple his post count in a week or so because he is finally getting some attention in his life and is embracing it. There is only one person picking fights in all of the threads in this forum.

Our starting times here in Glasgow, just 20 minutes from the mail centre is changing by 1 hour 30 minutes.
So our current finish time everyday is 14.38 and come May that will change to 16.08
I have worked here for 25 years and i could put up with that new finish time Mon-Fri but not on a Saturday. Now on the lookout for a new job and so are a quite few folk in my delivery office.

It's been my strong suspicion for years that there's a deliberate policy to make Saturdays unbearable. It achieves two aims: it drives senior people out of the job and creates support among delivery staff for a reduction of the USO to five day letters. The last step was having the union buckle on the issue. Most would now take their chances having to do one miserable Saturday every couple of weeks on rota than endure 1-in-6 with these proposed finish times.

We have been finishing ~3pm on our longest days, for a handful of revisions now, which is probably why we only have a small change planned. It is clear that it isn’t related to distance from the mail centre really.

That certainly isn't the case where I work. Our latest finish is currently 3.30pm, and we're going to be changing by over an hour. We're 70 miles away from our mail centre.

Damn that is bad. I think ours is about 22 miles away so yeah that is a big difference.

Sounds like possibly the DOs furthest from the MC will get their runs sent out first, maybe the lorries have to arrive back before the runs for the nearer DOs.
